Chest Wrinkles are the bain of many!  So when Sally Krieger from Skinvigor8 discovered the Silcskin Decollette Pads invented in 2004 by twice Emmy award-winning Hollywood make-up artist Camille Calvet, she knew they had to be introduced to Australia post-haste!

After extensive trialling, Sally saw how very effective these 100% medical grade silicone pads were at preventing and repairing chest wrinkles.  She says ‘they are such a bugbear for so many of us as they appear from lying on the side at night, sun damage and ageing’.  Unfortunately, once they begin, they seemingly grow deeper before our eyes!  These wrinkles affect a large portion of the female population from around the 35 upwards mark with many of us resorting to high necked tops in summer and chunky jewellery.

 

As the Decollette Pads were so successful, Silcskin has since expanded their range to include pads for the forehead, mouth, eyes & neck.

Skinvigor8’s Silcskin Decollette & Facial Pads were invented in 2004 by twice Emmy award-winning Hollywood make-up artist, Camille Calvet. Camille realised that whilst there were many products available to combat lines on the face, there was a noticeable gap when it came to chest lines in the decolletage where wrinkles form as a result of lying on the side when sleeping, from sun damage, through ageing and with gravity.

 

Camille Calvet came up with the inspiration for the pads after seeing first hand how silicone had healing properties on scar tissue. Additionally, as a result of her extensive work with silicone prosthetics, she noticed that the skin on the actors and actresses who were wearing them was becoming increasingly softer and more supple over time.

Camille combined these two ideas and from there developed a formula which would be suitable for all skin types using 100% medical grade silicone. The Pads work to prevent muscles and skin from forming wrinkles while sleeping as well as smoothing existing wrinkles while awake.

 

The Silcskin Pads last between 30 – 60 days and are simply washed with warm soapy water.  We recommend sunlight or velvet laundry soap as it contains no moisturisers and is perfect for washing the pads.  No expensive cleansers are required!

The Silkskin range are 100% medical grade silicone, non-irritant and anti-allergenic, and are the original Pads which are of uncompromised purity and quality. Very importantly, they contain no latex, urethanes, fillers, adhesives or peroxides which are prevalent in other cheaper take-offs that often cause nasty skin irritations.

The difference is noticeable after 1-2 nights with results being cumulative.

 

Our Decollette pads are designed to correct and prevent chest wrinkles caused by sun damage, ageing, and sleeping on your side. They are very discreet to wear any time of the day. Made of 100% medical grade silicone, they contain no allergy causing latex, urethanes, or adhesives. They include one Pad per box.

 

Our Decollette Pads are composed of 100% Medical Grade Silicone. Electrostatic energy provided by the pads when worn is supposed to improve the irregular collagen structure and also creates an increased blood flow which results in an improved skin tone.

Silicone should contribute to moisturizing the skin by drawing the skin’s moisture to the surface. This process has been shown to hydrate the skin and is an important factor in healing scars. We are simply treating wrinkles as scars by hydrating, improving the Collagen structure, and flattening them out. Prolonged use will help return Chest skin to a more youthful and supple appearance, by softening fine lines and wrinkles.

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Make sure the chest area is thoroughly clean, dry and free of moisturizers, sunscreens, etc. Sweating at night may interfere with adhesion. Dry well.

2. Remove pad from packaging. Remove the storage tray. Cut open polybag containing the pad. Remove pad from the backing.

3. The pad is self-adhesive. The pad will begin to lose adhesive qualities in approximately 30 days. Once this happens a new pad should be applied.

4. Apply the pad to the desired area of the chest. You can put on the pad when going to bed, or any time of day. Use for an hour or more at a time.

5. Remove the pad slowly in the morning in an upwards motion. Place on the storage tray, and put the tray inside the packaging. Insert the tab on the package into the slit to close.

6. Pads should be washed occasionally to remove exfoliated skin cells that may interfere with the adhesive quality of the pad.

7. Pads should be washed with a soap that is free of moisturizers, emollients or oils. ie. Baby Shampoo. Allow pad to air dry face up on the storage tray in a clean location. Do not dry with a towel. Once dry, place face down on the tray and return to the package.

8. Some edge lifting is normal due to body contours. Do not use on sensitive, irritated, cut, scratched or burned skin. Do not use if there is a known sensitivity to silicone. Discontinue use if a rash or irritation occurs.

9. Our Decollette pads are made of 100% medical grade silicone. There is no allergy causing additives or adhesives used. Pad is not transdermal.
