Filler Treatments
Repeated facial expressions over time will lead to static wrinkles, wrinkles that don't disappear
when facial muscle are relaxed. Dermal fillers are used to plump out the skin, erasing deep static
lines which results in
smoother looking skin.
Dermal filler - J is made from the body's own naturally occurring complex sugar, Hylauron, which provides
a natural and rejuvenated appearance by ‘filling in’ or ‘plumping up’ facial wrinkles and folds.
There are many types of fillers available for use in facial rejuvenation with the new-generation
injectable gels (Dermal filler - J and Dermal filler - R) being the dermal fillers of choice at the
Newcastle Cosmetic
Medicine Centre.
Dr Bullock says; Dermal filler - J is a softer gel, which enables me to create a finer edge to lips and to fill finer lines around the lips and eyes. Shaping the lips is an art form, and patients are seeking a more natural-looking appearance. The lips are a focal point of the face, and dermal filler - J produces a nicer result with less swelling and less risk of lumpiness.
Areas of Treatment
Common areas treated with dermal fillers are: Lip sculpting and static lines around the mouth and on the forehead. In total facial rejuvenation, dermal fillers can be used to create cheek bones, brow bones and can be used to fill tear troughs reducing the dark circle under the eyes.
Treatment
Treatment with dermal fillers usually takes 20 - 40 mins, after initial consultation, depending on the area or number of areas treated. Treatments usually last up to 6 months with regular repeat treatments producing longer lasting effects of up to 12 months or more.
